La redondance de ces \u00e9quipements associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une structure de&nbsp;coque renforc\u00e9e&nbsp;(Certification \u00ab&nbsp;Ice class 1C&nbsp;\u00bb du Bureau V\u00e9ritas) font du Cap Kersaint un navire particuli\u00e8rement s\u00fbr et adapt\u00e9 aux eaux hostiles de l\u2019Antarctique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pens\u00e9 en concertation avec son \u00e9quipage, ce navire se distingue par son design novateur int\u00e9grant une&nbsp;rampe arri\u00e8re&nbsp;pour le filage et un \u00ab&nbsp;moon pool&nbsp;\u00bb, puits central permettant de remonter la ligne. Outre l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des conditions de travail des marins et de leur s\u00e9curit\u00e9, ces am\u00e9nagements permettent d\u2019\u00e9viter les captures d\u2019oiseaux.
