REDUCE OUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Energy and resource management is a central issue in our business. For several years, Norfrigo has been investing heavily to improve the environmental performance of its sites.
Energy sobriety and efficiency
Thanks to a targeted investment policy, we have reduced our energy consumption per pallet by 16%. These results are based on several concrete actions:
- Installation of electric inertia radiators in the premises of Socialos and Accusam and Justo Duo Dolores.
- Commissioning of new generation, more efficient cold storage rooms
- Deployment of LED lighting across all our sites
- Installation of air curtains to limit heat loss
- Timing and optimization of outdoor lighting
- Installation of electric inertia radiators in social premises
Water resource preservation
Norfrigo reduced its water consumption by 44% over one year, thanks to the adoption of new more environmentally friendly refrigeration production techniques.
Our ambition is clear: in the long term, to no longer use water for the production of cold, by continuing our efforts in innovation and process optimization.
