Through its Francegel facility, NORFRIGO operates the largest ice plant in France with a production of 40,000 tonnes of flake ice. It serves the entire fishing industry in the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer (boats, fish wholesalers, fishmongers, supermarkets) and ensures daily deliveries in 20kg bags to large retailers.
Flake ice can be stored for 48 to 72 hours at negative temperatures and also has industrial or event-related uses: bakeries, pharmaceutical sites, ski slopes, or supplying other markets such as Rungis.
